How Gusseted Bags are Measured.
Gusseted Bags have a bottom seal and gussets on each side which makes the bag expandable allowing greater depth than a normal flat poly bag. The gusset can be up to half the bag width. Bags are available in a wide selection of sizes and mil thickness. All bags are FDA approved.

The width and side of a gusseted
bag is measured by the outside dimensions.
Width
......is measured side to side
Length.....
is measured top to bottom
Side
gusset..... is measured by it’s expansion diameter

Example: Gusseted Bag
Size 30" x 26" x 60" x .003
First Measurement .. Width............. 30"
Second Measurement... Depth ............ 26"
Third Measurement .......Length ........... 60"
Mil Thickness of the bag..................... .003 or 3 mil
Gusseted bags work great for
covering pallets, boxes, cans, trays and other types of shipping
and packaging containers.
They can also be used for Gaylord Liners to fit inside cans,
boxes, and containers.
