The Nelson Wrap Dispenser is new to the market and brings with it much improved ergonomics over the traditional hand held wrap dispensers.  The linear construction combined with self oiling materials and consistent action allow for a load to be quickly and easily double-wrapped.  An operator adjusted tension control, paired with a hand brake assure you the tightest wrap needed for the application.

In most cases, the operator of a traditional hand held dispenser has to bend down in awkward positions in order to properly secure the load to the skid.

In addition, warehouse employees have also been seen wrapping loads while walking in a backwards motion around the skid.  These procedures are obviously unsafe.  Identifying ergonomic hazards and recognizing potentially harmful practices in the workplace are the first steps in providing a safe working environment.  It was because of the observation of these unsafe practices that the Nelson Wrap Dispenser was developed.  Its "Safety First" design eliminates the need to bend low to wrap skids, thus reducing the factors that contribute to back disorders.  With its easily held linear construction, the Nelson Wrap Dispenser can be used by the operator in a forward motion, thus allowing the operator complete awareness and control of his surroundings.
